1 Status of visualization

• Separation of "Scene" and "Visualization Driver"
• Development of New Visualization Commands
• Tutorial macros which co-work with example N03

2 Status of GUI/environment

• Geant4 GUI (MOMO/GAG, OPACS etc) are working quite stably
• New developments in graphical editors (GPE, GGE, CAD interface)
• Interactivity: OPACS environment is already available

3 Future plan of visualization

• New Vis Commands will be completed before the next release
• Visualization of boolean operation
  • Soon
• Visualization of BREP
  • In plan
  • But man power is not enough.
• DTREE
  • In plan
  • Automatically generated HTML files
    will realize interactivity.
    Prototype exists.
  • Link to "/vis/scene/add/volume" command
    may be interesting

4 Future plan of GUI

• Extension of G4UIterminal is in plan:
  • Flow control (if, for-loop etc) is in plan
  • Command completion
    (e.g. b+TAB ==> beamOn)?
    • Already available in G4UIXm
