ELECTROMAGNETIC WORKING GROUP plan of activity for 2016 =======================================

1) Infrastructure and general support for EM physics
- migration remaining EM and medical examples to multi-threading (1/2)
- introduction of elements of C++11 into EM code (1/2)
- ATLAS tilecal problem (1/2)
- ATLAS EM shower shape (1/2)
- CMS EM shower shape in combined testbeam (1/2)
- ALICE EM physics configuration (1)
- ALICE TRD physics (1)
- CALICE calorimeter simulation (1/2)
- improve computation of range and energy loss of alpha in G4EmCalculator (1)
2) Validation and verification of EM physics
- perform regular execution and regression analysis using existing testing suites (1/2)
- Extended testing suite - migration to cmake, to Geant4 internal analysis software, and migration to MT where possible (1/2)
- continue detailed comparison of Standard, Livermore, Penelope, and DNA models [LE] (1/2)
- extend backscattering tests in the testing suite (2) [LE]

- Extension to the unified surface model to have both specular and diffuse components for the transmitted photons (2)
