1. Spokesperson election

  • Approved the election of Alberto Ribon as spokesperson and Ben Morgan as deputy spokesperson.

  • This is their second mandate, valid for two years.

2. Beta release, 11.5.beta

  • Announced, as scheduled on June 26th.

  • Released also, the week before, the second patch of 11.4, 11.4.2.

3. Status of the 4th general paper

  • Progressing slowly. It appears unlikely to publish it this year, as planned.

4. Collaboration meeting

  • Scheduled for the week 5-9 October 2026, in Bordeaux (France).

  • Restricted event to Geant4 members and contributors.

  • Under discussion how best collect new User Requirements. Related to this, not yet decided the next Technical Forum.

5. Geant4 review for 2027

  • A review of Geant4 for next year has been requested by the Geant4 Oversight Board.

  • One of the main goal is to assess the readiness of Geant4 for the CERN High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) program, as well as for the future collider FCC-ee project.

  • To be decided whether the focus of the review is HEP only, or covering more application domains.
